What makes this server different
A DayZ server on Deer Isle where the island is PvE, the fights are your choice, and there is more to do than survive. Here are the systems that set it apart.
Quests
Take on work from the people you meet, keep track of it in your journal, and find out what's really going on. The island has a past, and it rewards the curious.

Notoriety
Every job you finish gets you noticed, by the whole island and by the people you did it for. Each faction has its own ladder of ranks, and what you earn stays with you when you die.
How notoriety works
Building
Move into one of nine prefab houses, or build a base the way you always have. Your choice, no catch.
Keep your gear safe
Store your gear safely in a locked container at your base.
Crafting
Break things down and build them back up. Recycle what you find into parts, and use workbenches to craft and repair what you need. Nothing is wasted.

Missions
Our missions are our own: a custom mission engine runs a rotating set of events across Deer Isle. Hold the hill in King of the Hill, push through the multi-step Proving Grounds, hunt the bears, clear a horde, take down a VIP or raid a guarded camp, with a loot chest for whoever finishes. Rewards scale with how many players are on the server, and completing missions earns you notoriety. We keep fewer missions running at once on purpose, so a marker on your map means something.

Loot
Loot on Deer Isle is hand-built. We write our own loot tables instead of leaving it to the defaults: missions, keycard strongrooms and many loot chests all pay out from our own tiered lists. You find what you need out in the world: nails, saws and hammers are no longer sold by traders, so you take them from missions, keyrooms, King of the Hill and airdrops.
Virtual Storage
Virtual Storage protects your supplies, and it is built for our server: store gear in containers within your territory and come back later to retrieve it. Items won't despawn or decay while stored.
On the island
Fight when you choose to
The island is PvE. Step into a marked PvP zone when you want a fight, and out again when you don't. Nobody can hunt you outside the lines. See the zones.
A better place to wake up
You start with three souls. Earn more by taking the fight to others, and spend them on a better respawn. With none left, the prison is always free.
The best loot is behind a locked door
Keycard-locked rooms hold the good stuff, and getting in means going through whoever else wants it.
Park it, key it, find it again
Cars, boats and helicopters all use one garage system, with a fresh key every time you take one out.
A real economy
Safe-zone trader hubs at Groot's Hill, Waldoboro, Ship Hole Harbor and the Sons of Deer Isle, plus the Collectibles trader and a Grey Market. Earn it, spend it, and find the people who buy what you loot.
